EduIgnition is an educational support initiative by Amba Dalmia Foundation Trust. The initiative is designed to uplift children from underprivileged backgrounds through neuroscience-backed, emotionally inclusive learning strategies.
In Spite of carrying an innate curiosity and potential, children often face invisible barriers — scattered thinking, memory lapses, low motivation, and poor emotional regulation. The traditional schooling system available to these kids is rigid and standardised. And it rarely caters to their cognitive and emotional needs.
Our volunteers, team of psychologists and counselors nurture the cognitive foundations of these children. And drive their long-term academic and personal growth through consistent, research-informed sessions.
Our mission with EduIgnition is to Make learning meaningful, mindful, and transformative.
Many children from under-resourced communities struggle with basic cognitive functions for not lacking potential, but the issue lies in the circumstances that often doesn’t allow these faculties to develop fully
At EduIgnition, We focus on strengthening foundational thinking skills. We work on their attention span, working memory, and logical sequencing. We make this possible through carefully structured mental exercises, storytelling, games, and pattern recognition tasks, children begin to focus better, retain more, and process ideas more clearly
Children living in challenging environments sometimes internalize stress, fear, or a lack of self-worth. These problems affect how they approach learning and life. Traditional education systems rarely address this emotional burden
EduIgnition creates programs where mental well-being is considered as a core objective. We begin with simple and powerful tools such as breathing exercises, reflective journaling, and guided visualization. We purposefully encourage the children to recognize their emotions, understand them, and work on understanding the art of mindful responding instead of reacting. These sessions help them strengthen their emotional resilience, make them calmer, more focused, and more ready to handle setbacks on every front.
EduIgnition works on helping change the internalized belief of those children who think that their voice doesn’t matter
We create opportunities for children to express themselves in a safe and encouraging environment through group activities like collective discussions, creative games, and storytelling circles. These activities help them get up and speak up, work on their listening skills, and support each other. They are developing skills that are just as important as academic knowledge.
As confidence builds, we begin to see visible shifts from withdrawn children to enthusiastic learners.
EduIgnition teaches children with strategies that help children become logical, and connected to the world that help them learn and grow.
We use techniques like visual organizers, mind maps, and concept-building games to help them relate abstract ideas to real-life situations. We promote applied learning instead of memorization.
This move from usual learning to applied understanding fosters curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.

The Neurolab Project at B. M. Gange Girls’ Senior Secondary School is an initiative combining brain training technology and psychological counseling to nurture well-rounded development among adolescent girls.
“The brain games helped me think faster in class, and during counseling I learned how to manage stress. I feel calmer and more confident now—like I have control over my thoughts.
“Earlier, I used to panic before exams. Now I know how to calm my mind. The meditation and feedback sessions helped me focus better, and in counseling, I learned that it’s okay to ask for help.
“My memory has improved and I can understand concepts faster. Also, after counseling, I don’t feel shy anymore—I’ve started speaking up in class and even at home.
“We’re seeing academic improvement and emotional growth. Students who were once anxious or withdrawn are now actively participating, managing their emotions better, and supporting one another.”
“The combined approach works beautifully. The cognitive tools help them stay sharper, and counseling gives them the emotional strength to handle pressure. It's reflected in both their grades and their behavior.”
“This program is one of the most impactful interventions our school has seen. It doesn’t just improve academic ability—it empowers girls mentally and emotionally. Our students are becoming more self-aware, more focused, and more confident in every aspect of life. We’re proud to partner with an initiative that brings science and empathy together for real change.
