We're the Amba Dalmia Foundation Trust, a non-profit organization born in New Delhi, India, in 2013. Dr. Gun Nidhi Dalmia and Mr. Agastya Dalmia started ADFT in loving memory of their daughter, Amba.
Our passion is to transform lives through a holistic lens. We don't just tackle symptoms; we nurture the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. It's about empowering marginalized communities, especially kids and young women, to rise above challenges and build a life of dignity and purpose. We're committed to lasting social change, inspiring hope, and opening doors for generations to come.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to equip marginalized communities, especially women and children, with the tools, mentorship, and life skills they need so poverty never stops their progress. We do this by blending education with sports and integrating holistic well-being initiatives.
We dream of an India where every individual, no matter their background, can unlock their full potential and lead a life of dignity, purpose, and true well-being. We envision vibrant communities built on strong foundations of holistic health, continuous learning, and equal opportunities.
The Amba Dalmia Foundation Trust runs a connected network of programs designed to deliver holistic well-being and lasting empowerment. Each program targets specific areas of development, all contributing to stronger, healthier communities.
Focus: Social well-being (Community Connection, Belonging), Occupational well-being (Skill Training), Physical well-being, and Financial well-being (Skill Training).
Our Navya Amba Shakti offers practical, skill-based training designed to enhance employability and foster independence. By equipping individuals with valuable skills, we directly improve their occupational well-being and pave the way for greater financial well-being, reducing stress and opening up new opportunities.
Navya Amba Shakti Program creates chances for them by:
Focus: Emotional well-being (Emotional Resilience, Trauma Management).
Through our Saahas Program, we provide vital psycho-social therapy and counseling. This support empowers individuals, especially young women, to build emotional resilience, manage trauma, and express emotions in healthy ways, fostering robust mental and emotional well-being.
Project Saahas lend support to them by:
Focus: Mental well-being (Cognition, Focus, Problem-Solving, Decision-Making).
Our cutting-edge brain training uses technology and psychology to supercharge minds. We boost cognitive functions, improve focus, and sharpen problem-solving skills, significantly enhancing mental well-being and accelerating learning for all, including specially-abled children.
EduIgnition Sessions bridges the gap by:
Focus: Physical well-being, Occupational well-being, and key Life Skills (Discipline, Confidence, Leadership).
More than just a sport, our tennis coaching program uses the court as a classroom for life. Kids learn discipline, confidence, leadership, and resilience – essential life skills that extend far beyond the game. This hands-on mentorship also builds their physical well-being and opens doors for future opportunities, boosting their occupational well-being.
EduTennis Program enables them by:
We deeply understand that healthy aging isn't just about adding years to life, but adding life to years. That's why we offer professional physiotherapy sessions specifically tailored to support the foundational physical well-being of our elders within existing community centers. Our approach involves collaborative support to these vital local hubs, ensuring their senior members have access to expert care. These sessions go beyond treating aches and pains; they're about empowering elders to maintain their mobility, effectively reduce discomfort, and significantly improve their overall vitality. We know a strong, active body is crucial for a sharp mind and joyful spirit. By partnering with local centers, we help ensure elders can continue to live independently, comfortably, and vibrantly, contributing to their holistic well-being every single day.
At Amba Dalmia Foundation Trust, we believe in tangible change. See the difference we're making:

something beautiful. She would watch her mother mend clothes with care, and soon began learning
